Alex Tulinsky

Alex is the lead developer for the Global Impact Study public access inventory web tool. Through his experience designing and building data-driven, web-accessible server applications, he has become a partisan of open-source software, both for pragmatic reasons and also as an alternative economic and social model. Alex is a software engineer by experience rather than formal education; currently in the Built Environment Ph.D. (architectural history) at the University of Washington, he holds an M.S. in architecture (history/theory) from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in political theory from Michigan State University.
