Information and communication technologies can influence lives in a variety of ways. For the purpose of this project, we have identified the six focus areas:
- Employment and income
- Education
- Civic engagement
- Health
- Democracy and governmental transparency
- Culture and language preservation
Other areas will be examined if they emerge as important for a particular research location.
