The Global Impact Study uses an open research approach. Our goal is to make our research processes, tools, findings, and data accessible. This will not only allow for our outputs to be usable by a broad population, but also enables other researchers to use and build on our work.

Unless otherwise noted, all of our reports and communications — including the content on this site — are available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike license.

Users must also abide by the University of Washington’s privacy policy and terms of use.

Our datasets will also be distributed under open licenses on a case-by-case basis, subject to ethical research requirements.
